I am using Windows 10 and JAWS 18 and notice it as well for a while. I thought it was my computer. However, the interesting thing is we were told at some point if the computer freezes, JAWS will restart. Not sure which one it is. However, it is irritating. Should not be occurring with a HP laptop

I'm going to have to pay more attention to this now. The only time I absolutely know when Jaws freezes on me is when running a spell check in Outlook before sending a message. It'll sometimes hang for a bit or outright crash. I do get the odd Jaws freezing/hanging, but it's so random otherwise

I had that problem on my Windows 8 laptop with Jaws 17. Naturally, FS told me it was my computer so they did updates. I bought a new windows 10 laptop running Jaws 18 and I have recently started having the same problem. If somebody figures it out, I hope it is shared. This is frustrating!
