You know, keep in mind, nothing says that you have to upgrade to Windows 10
when it comes out. Especially if it's going to break or interfere with
certain programs you frequently use.
I'm still using Windows 7 with no desire to venture up to Windows 8.1.

These keystrokes are for later versions of windows media Player, i.e.,
versions 10 and 11. Before then, they were F9 for down and F10 for up. F8
was for nute.

While on desktop, shift tab ones,
left arrow to volume, enter.
Tab ones, down or up arrow to desired volume percent enter.
