Hi Kevin,
Someone along the way mistook your flash drive for a card.
There are no buttons or switches for write protection on standard flash
drives.
If your drive shows up in computer, then there may be a way to recover
another day, another way!
and if tomorrow never comes, problem solved!

Agreed. It would help if Kevin clarified, but yes, I was referring to an SD
card, and as Maria realized, it seems Kevin wasn't.

I think you guys are referring to a SD card, aren't you? Kevin's subject says
flash drive, which is the same as a thumb drive which I don't think has such a
slider. If I am incorrect I would appreciate further

Kevin, the message doesn't fit, but maybe confirm that you haven't
accidentally right-protected the card. There's a slot toward the end
on one side where a button sometimes gets pushed

Is there any instruction how to place JFW 11 on a flash drive. Will be going
out of town and will be using a sighted person computer. They do not want me to
install a screen reader, but have no problem me using their computers, if I
have it on a flash drive.

Hi,
I'm not sure if the virus will spread to the PC, but I do know a way to scan
it. Here are some steps.
1. Go to the Start Menu.
2. Go to my Computer.
3. Go to the name of your flash drive.
4. Press the applications key.
5. Down or up arrow until you get to scan for viruses.
Hope this
thanks,
