So, I did a repair on the current v16 hoping that would put back the
activate searchbox (ctrl e) keystroke. It did not work. It looks like I
will just have to bite the bullet and uninstall and reinstall jaws
unless somebody has another idea.

ThunderBird spam folder. anyway, I renamed the folder to default old.jkm
and the problem was fixed. But w
in the MS-Word keyboard layout.
