With your method, people can get to places much quicker than mine and its
good to be aquainted with the search box and how it works.
That was just the first thought that popped into my head when I saw the

The way I described to Fanus was to acquaint him with the options in the
search
You could also hit windows key + R and in the run dialog box type:
sndvol.exe
