maxLength occurs within setFoo() and not within the SAX
quite some sense. That said, I see no reason,
why you shouldn't

Charset is a Java 1.4 class. We cannot use that.
ISO-8859-1 encoding not working correctly
priorities. If you don't like them: Sorry. But if you don't like that,
you'd better start buying support.

I am quite thankful for all your reports. Really! However, it is
simply beginning to overwhelm me. Please be so kind and start to file
these as bug reports in Jira. We'll be completely unable otherwise to
handle this in a structured manner.
