JBCRELEASEDIR. You can remove this entire directory to reclaim the
space but it wont hurt to leave it there as long as nothing in your

I think it is because it is such an open ended question. It's like
saying I want to go into space but not sure how to do it.
I'll give it a whirl though. How much do you know about programming?
What languages? What kind of a database?

Is there a way to install Jbase 3.x on a machine running 64bit Win 7?
We are trying to hold off using Jbase 5 as we have a number of clients
who cannot afford to upgrade computers right now, but as their machines
break it is getting hard to find 32 bit machines.

If you use the recommended SDK's as per the jBASE web site, or ask jBASE
support if you are not sure, then there should be no problem
I believe the new jbase 5.x support SQL commands though.

I certainly don't see why not, seeing as how jBASE is not SQL.

Hi All:
Has anyone run into an issue with Jrfs service just stopping every few
days or so? This is on Jbase 3.1.x (most current release of 3.x). Seems
to be mostly on Win 7 32-bit machines, but can occur on XP too. I have
it running at 20 or so customers and have the issue at 3-4.

In 4.x it gives me the separate values in attr 8 without summing.

Simon,
3.4.x will run on Win 7 32 bit (business/ultimate) with no problems.
I have been holding out too since I do not want to force all my clients
to buy a 64 bit system in a bad economy.
