Ok, but cvs tags are pretty much free so why can't a given module have its
own versioning, but when a JBoss release is made you tag the module with
the JBoss release tag so that one can get all of the JBoss source, core and
modules. This isn't really adding coupling betwen the core and modules is

I added a JBoss_2_2_0_Final to the jbosssx module codebase that went into
the JBossSX jars(jbosss-client.jar, jboss-jaas.jar, jbosssx.jar) included with
the JBoss_2_2_0_Final release. This allows the source for these to be obtained
and patched if necessary.
I think we need to do the same for the
The sourceforge cvs online viewer was showing the available tags previously, at
least I thought I had seen them. Now the tags popup list is showing:

Any idea why this changed and how to restore the valid tags?

Hi Geeks
I am back and will finish the JMX RMI-Connector and start
a Documentation Serie about JMX.
But first I finish the JMX RMI-Connector allowing Java Clients
accessing the MBeanServer from another JVM (local and remotely).
ToDo List:
- Catch the RemoteException from RMI and translate them
Great work Simone,
please put the "howto" on the website under the CVS webpage
thanks man, it is getting somewhere...

Hey,
look in jboss.jcml and almost at the top there is the transaction mbean. You
will find there the transaction timeout value, that overrides the one in the
code.

Oh, I was thinking it was 18:00 EST. The main issue is that the
jboss-jass.jar needs to include two additional classes to avoid
ClassNotFoundExceptions when writing custom LoginModules.
Let me know whether or not this can still be included.

OK 2.2 is really of FINAL quality. We have been really in a effective BETA
for the past 3 month and I don't see people complaining on major stuff.
The test situation is a bit more complex. JCTS has come a long way.
JBossTest had things that made deep tests (the home.create(objectref)) that

Hey Ken,

I don't know. AFAIK 2.1 is far better than 2.0, and passes more (if not all)
tests of the JBossTest suite, I think also the Peter Braswell's CTS.
But it's a good question. Anyone may answer better than me ? Marc ?

Hello,
it's clear that the board wants to exit with 2.2 FINAL, since every one
involved in packaging wants to checkout the most updated code in the branch
to package a final 2.2 release.
So, I ask to every committer to stop committing to Branch_2_2 starting from
18:00 GMT (13:00 New York). I will
