Yes,
client-side deployment is something we have not yet catered too much. Im sorry for
that. But you could have a look at our testsuite (there is an abstract TestBase class
in which we use special axis-client.xml descriptors in order to setup small client
processes) how to do that

I'd like to try and duplicate the error (minus SuSE), but am not all too familiar w/
the SPECjAppServer2004 Benchmark. Is this something you can download? I went on the
site and didn't see anything (at least particular to '04).
Also for future reference, this post is probably better suited to

Related to this job, I'm working on the user/password set when the JMS manager is

Additionally, Since 2.3.4 will ship with the Hibernate SAR I am considering using that

I created a separate topic for the hibernate persistence manager and state manager.

Hi
Is there a way (a tag) to specify the invoker-bindings (ie. iiop) for a bean
via xdoclet?
I did not find anything in that direction.
TIA,

We also need to write an OIL based on UIL2
The existing OIL and OIL2 layers should then be jndi aliases to this.
UIL2 is actually faster than OIL once you have the connection open.

having horrible property files for each database - each with
different definitions of blobs/joins
See docs/examples/jms and deploy/jms/hsqldb-jdbc2-service.xml

You can use XDoclet merge files to do this.
Put your configurations in a file named jboss-container.xml then in your JBoss sub-tag
in the EJB XDoclet task, add the mergedir=dir where your merge files live
property.
This will merge in your invoker-proxy-bindings and your
To use the container configuration in your EJB/MDB you add this XDoclet tag to the

A 500 can be caused by many things. It's too vauge of a discription to help you with.
Look at JBoss's log to find the error message. It will be much less ambiguous.

I've got the answer (from XDoclet mailing-list).
At method level, in my Session Bean, I wrote:
@dao.call method name
The right way was:
@dao.call name = method name.
Now, the last one problem, is how to define the
method's parameters.

yes, the compute method needs to be in your component interface... It seems to me
that you are fairly new to EJB in general. In which case I think are going the wrong
way about learning it. It's not like many languages or other parts of Java.. There
are many rules that need to be followed.
There's a pretty good tutorial on XDoclet's site:
http://xdoclet.sourceforge.net/valueobjects.html.
target-* are only used for unidirectional relationships (remove them from the getFiles
method)
Also you'll prably need the @jboss.relation for the getType method.

I have a simple suggestion. I think you should really consider using an already
