Try this.
In the gettingstarted directory, create a build.properties file and put a

jboss.dist=/path/to/jbossas/home
And then create the directory gettingstarted/jsfejb3/lib.
It should then build.

Cool.
Our real scenario is this: We have two caches, one for hard binary data
(dataCache) and one for meta data (metaCache) consisting mainly of strings. The
server processing updates the dataCache within a transaction (configurable with
JTA manager) which default to a jboss dummy transaction.

Just to clear up previous post, got the names of the jars mixed up
2.0 comes with jboss-j2ee.jar
2.1 comes with jboss-javaee.jar
Problem is with using with jboss-javaee.jar with jboss cache 2.1. In meantime i
took 2.0´s jboss-j2ee.jar and so far no problem using it with jboss-core 2.1.

Hi!
The properties you set to run aopc must also be set to run your java
application (jboss.aop.classpath,aoppath, or whatever you have defined in your
aopc task) The advice stack is built at runtime and, for that, JBoss AOP needs
the jboss.aop.xml.
Alternatively, you can put jboss-aop.xml in

Please, ignore that. I was mistaken when I thought the problem wouldn't be
reproduced in load-time weaving mode.
I have started a discussion at the dev forum about your problem:

Thanks! I like your solution better than the one I was testing.
I set the hibernate.session_factory_name property and did a JNDI lookup to get
the SessionFactory.
It seems to work, but I like getting the SessionFactory directly from the
EntityManager (via EMFactory) instead of a backdoor method
Also, we are using Active Directory if that helps.

Thanks for your quick answer.
I thought method invocation is done using the RMI port, or am i wrong?
It sounds like this shouldn't happen. And i'm almost sure that the client
doesn't call my remote session bean all the time.
Is there any way to determine which session bean and which method is c

IMO, this is unexpected. I'll try to reproduce this issue here and I'll let
you know if it is a bug.
