I compiled jabberd with SSL. The server starts fine,
but when I access the 5223 port, the server spits-out
these errors. I get at least 20 of them per second.
...and of course, the clients can't login via SSL
Any ideas?
Thank you,

Hello Developers,
We are using Jabber as a way for student's to communicate while watching
a live streaming video.
We are wondering if it's possible to add a "polling function" to our IM
sessions where a moderator could ask a question of
everyone in an IM session (chat room) and participants coul

My own "honest opinion" is that file transfer should be implemented if we
want Jabber to be a the perfect alternative to any of the current IMs out
there. It's not because we start working on file transfer that we can't work
on other parts as well.
I suggest that we create the protocol now, and

Hi,
when I did my post about "file sharing" I started to wonder what the
possibilities of the roster are...
Does the roster as it is now provides a flexible, extensible way of hiding
services for certain users? As I don't understand this question myself ;),
I'll try to give some examples:

Hi,
although I don't have time to carefully read JEP-0052 about file transfer,
maybe I can give my end-user view on file transfer and file sharing. I
hope it helps, if not, then I've put ideas in order for myself ;).
