With Maven 1.0.2 it will not work with ${basedir} prepended
on "maven.xdoc.jsl" either so definitely forget that comment !!

don't trust the (lack of) backwards compatibility concerns of the Maven

See below for results obtained, with JPOX 1.2.0. I'm not overly concerned that
it is against JPOX 1.2.0 since the changes since then to JPOX have no effect
on the JDO2 API/TCK and so don't prevent release.

since it has certainly been requested enough amongst users groups.
