I think that you must admit however, that the
organisations that can get the *most* benefit out of
portal technologies *are* the larger ones. Where they
do have many enterprise apps and business processes
which a portal can provide centralized access to.

Hallo,
has someone setup Jetspeed to use more than one DB? I just try to figure out
how I've to insert a second DB in Torque.properties, I didn't find any

Thanks!

Hi,
First in projectname-schema.xml you insert a new
database name=newDatabaseName
columns /
/database
And then you configure it in
Torque.props
torque.database.newDatabaseName.adapter=mysql

Hi,
Wonder if it's possible to detach the Portlet API from Jetspeed as is
today.
I have a portal running without Turbine and I would like to keep it that
way.
Is it possible to call the portlet framework with some values on the
querystring
to open a specific pane containing some portlets?
Hi.
In the templates/jsp/layout/default.jsp file, there is this line :
img border=0 alt=jetspeed:l10n key=HOME/ src=jetspeed:contentUri

which causes an Exception :

I guess that comes down to the fact that nobody probably had a serious
need
for what you are asking and therefore it hasn´t been implemented.
Usually stuff like that enters into an OSS project the way that somebody

Pierre,
Looks like your jsp templates and .tld is out of synch. The tag library in

Hi all,
I was wondering whether it was possible to put a background image on
Jetspeed's main page? It looks possible to change the background color, but
how about an image?
I am using Jetspeed 1.4b2.
Thanx in advance!

Under templates/vm/controllers|controls/html you can see the items where

the color, probably it's that.

Check to see whether you're using the regular Velocity or the
non-singleton velocity --- in general, singletons are bad news for
running multiple applications on the same server because, under
tomcat, it is only the /illusion/ if distinct applications; all
singleton classes are _shared_ state
Upon even closer inspection, the logged entry seems suspicious (of

Please suggest...
