I also get the Firefox error in Safari 6.0.2. It occurs on the first load - not
on reload. After several cache clearing tests, the message always appears on
the first load after the cache clear - not on reloads. It's almost like a
reverse cache problem!

Yes, I can confirm this now. A fresh start or clearing the cache of safari
results in the firefox error on the first load but not subsequently.
In addition, I have been focusing on JSmol. However, on test2 page, I find
that choosing either the signed or unsigned Jmol applet appears to load
Yes Bob. I fixed the problem since i updated the files. ThanksPino

The zip file available is apparently an older version (from the 11/13). There
might be some caching problem there, preventing from downloading the latest
version ?
I don't know if it's time to discuss this yet, but I have some comments about
JSmol:

First of all: JSmol is a really GREAT idea and I am still stunned how
good it works.
One question: do pickCallbacks work with JSmol as well?
Up to now I haven't seen a demo with pickCallbacks and right now I
don't have time to try myself, but next year I'm going to start a

Definitely worth a try. It's quite a bit of code. I don't have any idea how
to do it in the GPU.

You should not be seeing that message anymore, at least if you clear your

Good suggestions. A few comments
Performance will be the issue, for sure. No WebGL on the iPhone, iPad, or
Android tablet, so that won't help there. And there will always be WebGL
compromises even if we do get that working. I think you can forget
translucent surfaces with WebGL. It's not that
