indeed. I fixed the strange Firefox bug but broke this.

Hi,
I tried downloading the new 13.1.9 release from Sourceforge, and even
compiling the source code for 13.1.10_dev, but I still have bugs with
ellipsoids. Now, instead of a dot, I see a large square when I try them. It
seems odd to me that it could be system-specific, but just to stay on the
safe
don't do any conversions. Just let me fix it.

I don't have a specific file giving me the problem, I am currently testing
the various functionalities we're interested in to write down a quick
reference guide for my group. I just try a simple line like:
ellipsoid test axes {1.0 0.0 0.0} {0.0 0.5 0.0} {0.0 0.0 0.5}
and I get the bug. The latest
I forgot to implement that thread. Which reminds me, the NAVIGATE command
is not implemented.
OK, that is fixed, I think. Please check. I think moveto may have similar
problems, but I can't check that now.

Ah, OK. I may have missed that. I was testing thermal ellipsoids.

I've checked in that correction. Are you compiling Jmol or using the
release only? In any case, the very latest is always at

I've tried the version from Sourceforge, the version from your website, and
the Subversion source compiled, as they were five hours ago, and they all
had the same problem. The new version you just linked works. The set
ellipsoidAxes, ellipsoidArcs and ellipsoidDots options still don't seem to
work
OK, so check that out again from SVN, and it should all be working. I had
never implemented the various display options with nonthermal ellipsoids.

So many improvements, it's hard to keep pace.
I've just (re)tried with an iPad and found out that gestures now work : pinch
to zoom, two fingers for a translation.
There is even a support for picking measurements through double tap.
This is fabulous !

Jmol'ers,
I'm having some trouble with state scripts in JSmol (generated by the latest
version of JSmol). Comparable state scripts in Jmol proper work fine. To test,
see these two pages, which are identical except for the use of JSmol in the
latter. Did I miss a memo? I'm having a tough time deb
Bob,
This is neat.
On a test page using click bond change and click atom change, I can make it
work on my iPad. I have to use a stylus because of model size.
A bond change using pickcallback seems to require a double tap and an atom
change seems to require a single tap. Is that by design?

Ok, my double tap must have been emulating that most of the time. If I touch
the stylus to the bond for about 2 seconds, then tap, it works pretty
consistently. I guess that touch-hold is a hover.
