JSPs on JRun

I am having trouble running JSPs on JRun, connected to Apache. The first problem is that the jsp files show as text files in Netscape and HotJava browser; i.e. the html tags are not interpreted by the browsers other than IE. What is the problem? It cannot be the version, since I have NS 4.6.
