I have a jsp (a_frameset.jsp) which has the following piece of code in it
frame src="%= response.encodeURL("/existinguser.jsp")%" name="main"
While displaying the above page (a_frameset.jsp) from a servlet, it is
causing a problem since it contains another jsp encoded (existinguser.jsp).
It says

I evaluated Tomcat, Orion and Resin on a Solaris Intel box. Now I have
Resin 1.2.1 on our production server.
Tomcat (jakarta.apache.org) is excellent for compatibility tests and
small traffic deployment. It offer smooth integration with the Apache
http server and is the cheapest

As I know, GNUJSP is a bit outdated and still not JSP 1.1 compliant.
On the platform issue: if you can afford buy some sparc boxes, they run
for years unattended and you have big iron scalability. If you do not
want to spend to much consider Solaris x86 or a good Linux distribution.

We are going to run it on a Sun Solaris box. Yes we can afford to buy a JSP
