Thanks for your reply.

Hi Jukka,
It seems that the new oj_windows.bat works in a similar way than
openjump.bat did before. However, openjump.exe is obviously behaving
in a different way. It does not any longer just launch the batch file

Jukka,
I've had GeoJOSN import/export on my list of things to do, and I may
need it for a project I am working on this month. It won't take to
long to code, especially if an existing JSON library is used.
I'm not making promises, but I'll see what I can do.

It is tough to provide answers without more details. Why can't you just use
OpenJUMP? Do you really need a custom application?
If you want to load shapefiles, you will need more than just the classes you
mentioned in your e-mail. You will also need the code to load shapefiles.

On my opinion, I'd prefer to save Raster menu. It will be useful in the future
to add any other tools, not only those related/derived from Sextante.Note that
we already have a "Sextante" Menu when sextente is loaded.

Hi,
Sextante is rather well known name, and using it might lead our users to search
for Sextante documentation through OSOR or perhaps gvSIG sites. I am not sure
how much those documents would help with OpenJUMP Sextante functions, but we do
not have any documentation for those at all. I would
Stefan and Peppe,
I also believe that the word "Sextante" could be dropped in favour of
something like "Raster grid". Maybe we could keep a reference to
sextante in the description statement at the top of the "Open..." window?

Hei Peppe,
thanks for your thoughts.

on b) good question... the question is do people understand that loading
an image is something different than loading a sextante raster. Since
the functions of the Raster menu only work with the latter. Maybe your

Hi Stefan,
thanks for the comment. I have been far away and now I am checking the new
functions for OJ 1.4.
Justa a couple of thought.
a) Sextante Raster layer menu have no icons, like regular Layer menu. It would
be nice to add some (if possible) for 1.4 or 1.4.1.
b) thanks for the new Raster
