Hi - Does anyone know what exactly are those IP Demux interfaces in Junos? The
documentation says that they are logical IP interfaces mapped into logical
L2 interfaces. What does that exactly mean?
If I have a logical interface 'Int1' unit 100 vlan 1 ip address
10.0.0.0/24and then a demux interfa

Hi Sofiane - after this:
"ISSU: Preparing Backup RE
Pushing bundle to re1"
everything goes down for about 18min (BGP, OSPF and LDP).
This does not happen between 9.0 and 9.1. Or between service releases on
9.2.
Only between 9.1 and 9.2.
Embarrassing.
Thanks,
Marlon

We recently tested a PE-4OC3-SON-SMIR on an M10i w/9.2 and it worked
(although we did not put it though a lot of load). The SONET pics are
all based on the same ASIC (D-Chip) so they should work. I don't know
about the GE PIC.

Dan,
flexible-ethernet-encap is only supported on SFP interfaces (except for
the M7i builtin-ge which doesnt support it). If you have fixed optics
interfaces this is not supported.

According to PSN-2007-12-037, PE-2OC3-SON-SMIR and PE-2OC3-SON-MM have

I know that with the PICs on my old m10s, flexible-ethernet-services
wasn't supported, but it indicated such in /var/log/messages. You
seeing anything there?

Hi Felix,
I loaded your setup and it works for me.
First if you expect icmp (destination unreachable) replies you should change
the the 10.10.5.7/32 host route to "reject" - otherwise although redirected to
RI testFlow they are silently discarded.
How you decided the traffic is not passing VRF
All,
I am trying to build l2circuits between a few junipers in my network
without any luck. In my test case I have M20s with dual LH optic GIGe
interfaces facing a cisco cat 6500 using 802.3ad where I then have
vlans hanging off said switch to service downstream transit customers

I can't wrap my head around how the routing-instance config on Junos
should look like for me to be able to use a flow route to put traffic
into the routing instance, maybe one of you can help.
I have a flow route like this:
show configuration routing-options flow
route flow-test {
match {
