Hey all--
I've got a Juniper QFX5200-32C that got its timing ports on the front sheared
off during shipping. Looks like the parts are soldered onto the board and can
possibly be fixed. Does anyone know a repair shop that would do something like
this?
As always, any help is appreciated.
Hi all--
I've got a JNP-SPC3 card running on an MX480 running 19.4R3.11, and I'm seeing
FPC minor errors (details below, along with log errors on a "failed update").
Got an SCBE2 and have tried both the RE-S-X6-64G and the RE-S-1800x4-16G
routing engines. Can't seem to find any way to clear

Hi all--
New to this particular MIC. I've got two Juniper MX480s running RE-S-1800x4s

MIC3-3D-1X100GE-CXP with CXP-100GBASE-SR10 transceiver.
First time, like I said. Got a 24 Fiber MTP Cable, Multimode OM3, 100Gb Female

Hi all--
Forgive my ignorance, but I've got an RE-S-X6-64G running in an MX480 (BP3)
with an SCBE2, version 15.1R6.7, and it has a chassis-control problem:
root> show chassis environment
error: Unrecognized command (chassis-control)
root> show chassis hardware
error: Unrecognized command
again, Michael. I'll see if I can find anything else on the subject.
Uncle Google is not cooperating.

Hi all--
Just got a RE-S-1800X4-32G-S for the Juniper MX480, running 64-bit 14.2R7.5,
and a "show chassis hardware model" reveals a RE-S-1800X4-16G-S (relevant show
commands below).
Took the routing engine out of the chassis, checked the memory sticks, and I'm
seeing 4 x 8GB cards. I'm
Thanks a bunch.
That's what I was thinking. Really appreciate the confirmation.
And all of the advice. Thanks to everyone.

Hi all--
Stupid question, here. Can the MPC-3D-16XGE-SFPP run with 1G optics (e.g.
EX-SFP-1GE-SX), and if so, is there a specific port setting I need to commit?
I'm running an MX480 with 13.3R8.7, and Uncle Google hasn't been too useful,
yet.
I tried:
set interfaces xe-0/0/0 auto-negotiate

Hey everyone--
I'm trying to set up a GRE tunnel on an EX4500 running 12.3R9.4, and I'm
running into some basic trouble. This page does a pretty basic setup:

Hi all--
I've been trying to remove the VC config from a QFX5100 running 13.2X51-D38,
and I'm not having any luck. I've tried zeroizing and going into the shell to
remove the files in the config/vchassis folder, but I'm having no luck.
Looking at the config, I'm seeing:

so stuck.
Thanks.

Hi all--
Just wondering if you can use the timing support features on a regular MX80 as
you can on an MX80-T. Is the timing support a feature that needs to be licensed
on a standard MX80 to make it a T model, or is it currently a Juniper
honor-system feature?

Hi all--
Looking at a pair of used EX2500s, and I've been lucky enough to have no cable
for consoling in. Anyone know where I can buy one (or a few)?
Thanks much.

Hi all--
I think I've got this nailed down, but I wanted to make sure I know the
differences among the Brocade MX Series routers, and Juniper holds on to this
like it's a matter of national security. The parts for the 480 and the 960 seem
to be the same. What I've been able to put together
Hi all--
I can't seem to find the jloader file to upload my RE on an MX480. Just not on
the Juniper site, far as I can tell. Anyone have access to the loader file?
That 11.4R7.5 domestic image isn't much good to me without the jloader. . . .
Thanks in advance.

Can't seem to find a specific ceiling on this. Anyone know the max ARP entries

Hi all--
I've got two EX4200s where each port 0 on the 2x4SFPs doesn't work. Port 2
sends 10G traffic fine, but when I swing the same cable to port 0, it just
doesn't come up at all. I've attached the config below, if that helps. Hoping
someone here will scan it and tell me why I'm stupid.
Hi all-
I've got two MX80s that I upgraded from 11.1R1.14 to 11.4R6.5, and after I
finished, one unit showed the physical ports no longer available via the CLI.
The xe-x/x/x interfaces are configurable on one unit, but don't show up at all
on the other.
This seems like a simple problem, but
Hey everybody--
I got my hands on an EX-3200 PoE switch, and I don't need the PoE. Can I run
it with a 320W power, rather than the 740W (which I don't have).
I'm not seeing any errors. Does this just disable PoE, or am I looking at
other problems?
Thanks much.

We are considering deploying these for a customer's TOR, but I don't have any
experience with them.
Anybody out there have experience or comments good/bad on these? Anything I
should know going in?
Thanks a bunch.
