from big refactorings - will now happen in master.
The code in master will be released in august as Kdenlive 15.08.0 as part of
KDE Applications 15.08.0

you are right, it takes almost
twice the time to render, compared to the older settings.
The difference is in some parameters set in the MLT preset:
mbd=rd
cmp=satd
subcmp=satd
This is probably supposed to enhance quality, but as you noticed, you can
always edit the Kdenlive rendring profile to manually set whatever properties
you want.

don't know how we can coordinate the work between us since some core parts are

was showing up when it shouldn't have. This was just a wrong message showing
up and had no effect on the encoding process.
