sudo echo deep > /sys/power/mem_sleep
I get
-bash: /sys/power/mem_sleep: Permission denied
and when root account does that I get:

I have hp-spectre x360
i7-9750h, nvidia gtx 1650
I have the same issue. This is the first laptop that I have, which is
not suitable for linux because of this issue. Any ideas when this issue
will be fix for any kernel.

blacklisting the nouveau driver. That the freezing issue happens when
selecting nvidia. It is even worse then that. Because if I leave the

I switch to ubuntu 20.04 running kernel 5.4.0-17. I have the same issue
when closing the lid, using pm-suspend or systemctl suspend.
