Hi Roger,
few weeks ago I posted a list of what I considered worthy
improvements to basic KiCad features. The list is here:

I will soon be closing the poll on KiCAD features for improvement. More
analysis when I actually close it. However, there wil be a follow up
poll aimed specifically at which PCB functions users most "miss" from KiCAD.
Here are some options that come to my mind, but I wondered if people had

Voting tendencies pretty soon stabalised on this poll, so I decided to
call it in.
Very interesting results. KiCAD is developed on Posix like platforms
using OSS toolchains, and yet just over 50% of users actually use it on
windows. This is testimony to the quality of KiCAD, as OSS EDA tools

Hello,
I have switched to the latest KiCad and I am noticing a behavior that
looks new to me. I am placing the various opamps from a quad opamp. No
matter which unit I choose, it always places Unit A. After some panic,
it does appear that I can change the unit once placed, so I can work

Hi,
On the left toolbar you can find a button "show ratnest". You will see all
unconnected traces.

Is there a way to check any unrouted traces on pcbnew board editor? I
want to have a thorough check before releasing for sample request.

I run XP SP2. I noticed that searching a word or an expression in KiCAD
files is not an easy task as it used to be with Windows OS's prior to
XP. I had the chance to hear about 'Agent Ransack'; a free version of
the professional file searching software "FileLocator Pro". It helps me
