KR> Additional Corvair Bearing

2011-03-02 Thread RUSS HOUCK
I have a WW built corvair that was built about 5 years ago. It is still new, never installed. It does not have the additional bearing. I have a 3 blade Warp Drive prop which requires no extension. How much would it cost to send it back or have the addition bearing put on and is it worth it? My

My main header tank vent tube returns back to the aux tank, so if I overflow my header, the fuel runs back over to the aux tank and doesn't leave the plane at all. The aux tank IS vented to atmosphere through a faired vent/drain under the wing, and the way you can tell the tank is definitely

Yea that is a good idea, as it's small enough, my high wing and the KR are perfect together. Joe On Wed, Mar 2, 2011 at 6:10 PM, Larry Flesner wrote: > At 07:53 PM 3/1/2011, you wrote: > >If you tie down outside do you take precautions for sun and rain > >damage ? If so >

Hi guys, I've been reading through the archives in my spare time and lurking on the list reading everything that comes in. I would like to becoming a full-fledged KRer soon. Do any of you know of KRs for sale? I'm interested in just about anything. I've found a couple that are on the market,

Never mind. They ( FAA ) replied to my question. The code is included only of the first notice. I guess it was just too much trouble for them to include it on the final notice. I'll be damned if I was going to register early and have them reset my expiration date. Daniel R. Heath

I really have to echo Joe's thoughts here. My header tank overflow/vent is under the plane, I never worried about an automatic shut off for the fuel transfer pumps. Same thought pattern. It seemed like a great way to build in a potential failure. I'd rather overflow the tank than not be

Steve,If you want to it keep simple run the top vent over board and don't worry about fuel loss. I have a vent that is forward facing out the side of the fuselage. I can not see when I am sending fuel over board but I know I have. I usually fly an hour and run the pump 20min to refill. I only
