I have jet-coated pipes and have some corrosion on one section - the
crossover at the bottom. I called them re their "lifetime guarantee" and
was told to take a hike. I can't recall just how and why they weaseled
out of re-doing the work - probably because I didn't have the original
invoice.

It also is a factor in the antenna itself (being that AIR is the
dielectric that it propagates into, and the antenna is mathematically
modeled as a transmission line). The
I need a large size shirt my order was confusing when I read it. When I said
any extra large shirts, I meant any leftover large shirts.
I wasn't able to get there this year. Hope to be able to fly there next year.
If you have an extra large shirt and cap, I would be interested. Just let me
know how much and where to send it. Thanks. Chuck Pullen806 SE Eastgate

Larry,
I regret that was unable to attend this year's gathering due to work and and
other commitments. By the way my foot is much better than it was when you all
seen me at the 2010 gathering. Its still not 100% but I can fly again. I too am
in annual and want to make a few updates.
I would
Sorry for the delay in giving an update on the Gathering. I've been
a bit busy.
Attendance was down a bit over past years at the banquet but a good
time was had by all. I still have to mail and collect on hats and
shirts that were pre-ordered. I hope to take care of that in the

I recently completed a retract to tri gear conversion after a hard landing on
N774A. Mine was upside down for several months. I know a local builder who
has decided to do exactly what you are contemplating. Mains have been
reversed. He does not have the nose gear yet.

Hello Netters,
For those interested in the KR series of aircraft for their Corvair power
plant, Brennen and I will be attending CC #21 to answer questions, get
greasy, and generally just have a great time with the rest of you. We are
finishing up the details on our Corvair and should have it

Look at the most receint airplane thefts. They were all trigear. There is
tail wheel training just about anywhere you go. Find it and use it to your
advantage. You will cruise faster and be a better pilot for it. And a lot
less work.

I would think the uniqueness of a home built and the fragle market would
make it not on top of the list for planes to steal, as the resale will be a
PITA. Plus everything is so customized that other then instruments and radio
there isn't alot they can use.
I'm sure they would be affraid to fly my
Save yourself the time and effort and just get the tailwheel training. It looks
cooler and as an old pilot friend used to say 'It cuts down on the number of
people who can steel your airplane since most can't even taxi across the ramp
to make the getaway.'
