Rob, I have not seen the NTSB report. Vapor lock came from the FAA. If you look at the picture of the firewall prior to the crash, with oil all over it, you will see that I did not have a heat shield on the gascolator. I'm thinking that the increased airflow, after takeoff, may have moved more
