The experiment with a flat stall was experienced by a Velocity aircraft. The
aircraft had an aft cg and went into a stall. The plane fell tail first and
all survived. But because of the aft cg, it could not recover. The engine
maintained thrust and allowed a survivable crash.

Yup, it's a clear plastic tape that is used in places like Saudi and Iraq.
Any desert area in which the dirt due to brown outs caused by rotor wash would
damage the leading edges. Works pretty good. Would definitely protect the
leading edge of the KR wing.
