Come on guys! Get serious! Anyone who is looking at an airspeed indicator to determine when an airplane is going to stall needs to learn how to fly. While airspeed (actually equivalent airspeed [EAS], look it up) can be helpful to measure performance, when it comes down to flying the plan

OK the heavier aircraft, I've flown the B-727 a little over 20 years, and am just coming up on 2 years on the A-300. We were taught, (and it works) to crab down final, and at the last 100 to 200 feet to transition into a slip for touchdown. However, that does not work well on the DC-8 or so
