Get serious! Anyone who is looking at an airspeed indicator to determine
when an airplane is going to stall needs to learn how to fly. While airspeed
(actually equivalent airspeed [EAS], look it up) can be helpful to measure
performance, when it comes down to flying the plan
OK the heavier aircraft, I've flown the B-727 a little over 20 years, and am
just coming up on 2 years on the A-300. We were taught, (and it works) to
crab down final, and at the last 100 to 200 feet to transition into a slip for
touchdown. However, that does not work well on the DC-8 or so
