Guys, As I am busy with fuel and electrical systems at the moment, I have a question on both. There has been some mention of another type of wire available from marine supply houses lately and was wondering how silicone insulated wire would compare to tefzel or the other acceptable insulations. It

Ethanol raises the octane of fuel, but it brings with it the water absorbtion (there are two sides to that coin also) and higher volatility (think vapor lock), but it will raise octane for less than some of the "octane boosters" that you buy in a can (which are often alcohol anyway). Three
