This one is actually inserted in a big square surface - you can see it on the
other pictures. The seller just picked a bad picture to display on the item
list, since this picture doesn't show all of the pillow, but is a close-up or

Hi gracious spiders,
I have just been given a pair of bobbins from a friend who was visiting
Germany. As far as I can make out from an hour on line they are hooded
bobbins and come from the Schwabische Alp region. I had never seen anything
like them before.
Here comes the newbie question. Is t

I have recently bought a dress - very pretty, and fits well, but with a
somewhat too sexy plunge down the front (how come I didn't notice, when
I was trying it on, that the bra is apt to peek, when I move?). So I
thought to make some lace for it, and kill a whole flock of birds w
Just so you know, "Tina" weighs about 4 pounds, hence the cost of
postage. It's no slim pocket volume (but it's not a doorstop either -
much too cool a book for that!) :-)

I just spent a thoroughly enjoyable hour reading Tina at the Oral Surgeon's
office. As I suspected, Tina would be no where near as entertaining without
the clever and informative notes provided by the Rocky Mountain Lace Guild.
I liked the part where Tina, discovering a fire, breaks a glass d

I am about to scan "The Art of Making Altar Laces", a very nice little book
of crocheted laces sent to me for scanning by a generous friend. It will come
out (eventually) on CD#5, but will of course be on the Professor's web site
long before that, when I get the scanning done and he finishes the

I have been thumbing through my copy of Tina, which I am planning to take

that the book is much more than a reprint of a dime novel. There are three

Thanks for your suggestions. I will wait and see, I am not interested enough
