Hello everyone
I know it is Christmas Day but have found time to put the latest lot of
cards onto the website. There has been some tidying up as well so check
out the 51 cards on display at

The PDF of the patterns are very well received and h

Dear Arachnids
Looking forward to seeing your three overlapping rings Jane. I am currently
struggling with a piece of floral Bucks for my next book. It has nook pins
everywhere and is proving a beast to get the pins in the exact positions so
that someone with limited floral Bucks experience can ma
Hi, everyone. Christmas is nearly here, and I think I'm almost ready for
once. We are having snow AGAIN here in Dubuque, Iowa. We've had over 20"
so far this winter, much more than we usually get. Our White Christmas is
out of control! I fear we will set another snowfall record by spring.

He was shocked to see it so busy at that time of day.

Happy Holidays Everyone!
I'm currently working on one of Tamara's two pair snowflake wonders, hoping to
get it finished by next weekend. And training my year old cat that the pretty
bobbins are MY toys, not hers. Just when I think I have her trained, she tries
to "help". Anyway, am hoping to

Support pins are pins set back a little way from the first row of stitches -
you hang the pairs on support pins while you work the first pinhole(s) using
those pairs, then take the support pins out and tension gently to get the

Just a reminder about the Lace Guild Advent Calendar competition.
You've got until January 5th do the lace jigsaw puzzle (or get your
children or grandchildren to do it for you) and send in your entry.
Good luck, and have an enjoyable Christmas.

I have just bought a pattern called Incy Wincy Spider. I bought it because it
was advertised as being ideal for a first big project and thought it was a
good idea. On getting the pattern I am only shown where to put the first two
pairs of bobbins (there are 34 pairs altogether) and I am to add th
I'm currently working on a Bucks bookmark for a friend - it is based on
the track layout of Porthmadog Station (Welsh Highland Heritage Railway)
- which also looks very much like his initial! I was hoping to have it
finished for Christmas, but the need to get a cardigan knitted for my

look forward to hearing what others of you have made.

What's on my pillow?
The same two pieces that have been on for months:
On one is a Beds butterfly, but at least I have done most of the leaves
and just a wing edging and the body to go;
On the other is a long piece of Bucks edging to go around a large pin
cushion.
Too little time, too much othe
How I wish me could send *things* through cyber space. I love the challenge
of sorting out a badly tangled pillow.
The worst I ever had to deal with was when my daughter was housesitting for
me, and my grandson (now 22) was a toddler and I had forgotten to put my pillow
out of his reach!!!
Seasons Greetings to all wherever you are.
I have just finished a Jenny Hester wall hanging, I bought this on
6th Dec. so it's been goodbye to dusting etc to get it finished in time
as a present.
