I am aware that Americans used to call skunks polecats. So I half expected the
tv show to be about skunks. I was surprised to discover that in UK polecat
refers to a creature which is a member of the weasel and martin family, and is
the parent species for domestic ferrets. I do realize this

I say it is for the lace writing community to set the usage, and the Oxford
Spelling Dictionary to follow our lead! As soon as we develop our
