came home, as I didn't know how to start or end projects very
well. I soon found a great teacher in Mary McPeek, who solved that
"problem" by having me do a chess board. By the time I finished 64
pieces I could start and end with no problem. Ann started a 20+ year
love of d
(36 wraps/cm). It's a pretty big jump in thread size, and I don't
have any idea what percentage to start to enlarge the pattern (some more
of the patterns in /Milanese Lace/ by Read & Kincaid). Is there a
point that you can enlarge or reduce the pattern too much?

may have that method
described differently that may make sense to me? I have been using a
pivot pin to get around the curve, so I can continue with the piece, but
it is much fuller than the picture, and I would like to understand the
method used in the pattern. Thanks for any help.
