Recently we had a warning about celluloid for storing lace.
Can anyone tell me about acetate please?? Is it safe to use for storing lace
and embroideries?? If so which one?

For support sticks for brise fans you might like to investigate the thicker
transparent acetate sheets that are supplied for covers when comb bindering. I
have not tried them but they feel possible. Let us know if they work.
