As the digests seem to be few and far between maybe I can ask everyone what lace related items they received for Christmas? I only got a few. My DH got me a One and Only pillow from Snowgoose which I have to cover. My family thought it rather odd that I should get a huge box which when unwrap

For Christmas she gave me a candle from the t'Apostelientje - my favourite shop - it has a picture of a lacemaker on the si

My Christmas gift is not strictly a lace tool but that is what it will mainly be used for. DH organised the family, behind my back, to get me a colour printer, and No. 2 son came over to install it so now I can start learning about what I can do with my new printer. I have been making do with a dot

I had a long lace wish list and was mildly (but happily!) satisfied with what I got. I got Brenda's book Threads for Lace - my family was astounded that it was REALLY what I wanted. I'm not sure what they expected? From my DH, I got a pair of glass bobbins with silver twisted foil inside and 4(!
