Alternative info-LabVIEW list

2004-03-15 Thread Michael Aivaliotis
Well, I decided to put up an alternative Info-LabVIEW mailing list. Since it is a fact that many people refuse to use web based forums, I think a mailing list is still essential. Right now, the original list is up and down. Here is the link to the new subscription page. http://lavausergroup.org/

Scott, Thanks a whole bunch for the offer. It is amazing for how long Tom Coradeshi ran info-labview pretty much flawlessly for years. I remember when I joined, way back in 1992 which is 12 years ago. Yeah, and these Macs do run fine for a long time. To me it seems a logic move from Igor to Igor,

If the list is being moved and reworked, then why not consider changing the format of it to something that allows for better tracking of discussion topics? There are several software packages available that support discussion groups like this and allow for HTML. Lewis Drake Process Automation Cor

Hi, I've been trying to follow the suggestions. It looks like two other, separate threads of a similar content have started up. I may be duplicating some of their comments. I'm not a big fan of mailing lists for a number of reasons. Searching their contents is never a trivial task. Thre
