Hi all;
the recent discussions about ntpd failing on i686 SMP and patching it,
required to test the proposed patch with uClibc-ng 1.0.24.
The most visible change when building our packages with uClibc-ng 1.0.24 was
the deletion of RPC support in uClibc-ng.
A replacement is libtiprpc with a

Hi all;
I've committed a 4.9.(3) kernel to master for review.
While I believe we should wait for an official new LTS kernel (probably 4.10),
upgrading the kernel to 4.9 made me aware of missing and failing packages
(ipt-netflow, igb,...), the only remaining package to fail is perf.lrp. And

Hi Gents;
I've created a new branch maint-5.2, containing previous maint (5.2.x ) with
the purpose to commit fixes to 5.2.x if necessary, and merged master into maint
(now 6.0.x).
maint should be for fixes and changes for the 6.0.x series.
master is open for development >= 6.1.x

I've comitted changes to support the linux 4.4.x kernel for raspberry pi

While the raspberry pi 1 was mainly a proof-of-concept, we now support all the

With the changes for rpi rev 1, we do have an example how to support booting

H Gents;
with the merge of newinitrd-6x into master we do have a simplified logic to
load modules:
either during boot from modules.sqfs and /etc/modules or from an init script
as shorewall does for example.
As long as I've not overlooked something important, I believe there is no need
for
ing geode image, which
IMHO does not.
Eventually we'll add an image for WRAP.

remove modules.sqfs and use of moddb.lrp though it'll reuire the new
config option in leaf.cfg.
I still don't see why. The config

HI all;
maybe we can make a step backwards in this discussion and can think about my
proposal to reduce the pain:
The whole pb started here AFAIK:
Modules that are copied manually, should be saved. Modules that are
loaded from squashfs aren't added to moddb.tgz to reduce it's size.

moddb.lrp are not loaded (modules.sqfs has been deleted/removed).
In addition we should make shure for updates that modules.sqfs overwrites
moddb.lrp - if modules.sqfs is available, do not load moddb.lrp
