Hey: Anyone have any links on how LRP performs on specific platforms? I picked up a couple remanufactured HP vectras 166 pentiums for $69. I wanted to try to use them for portforwarding specific application connections. Like say aconnection to an internal Oracle DB. Can something like this

hey, I figured so. I use these unbranded Intel 82559 based boards. They are made by Intel I'm sure. On Solaris Intel I've been able to get them to transfer 9+ MB/sec using a couple simple rcp's running in parallel. Yeah I know. Slo-aris. I still like Solaris. I haven't performance tested

I tried scanning with it too, and it gave no open ports. However, i have SSH and www open. I have a feeling it either tried to scan 192.168.0.3, which is the IP on this computer, or my ISP's transparent web proxy servers.. Dave ___ Leaf-user mailing

Hi there, My lrp box is running Kenneth Hadley pppoe image (v 0.4) wich is a eigerstein image with pppoe, I run it with the 2.2.16 IDE kernel from (Charles S. site) since my box is using ide flash disk as boot device. ( thanks to averybody who is working on lrp it works pretty well)
