I'm not sure if I can help...but I'll try. 1.) Are you using Windows or
Linux to make your CD's? 2.) Assuming you're using Windows, can't you
just download all of the appropriate files for Bering, add the lrpkg.cfg
package to it, and then use something like Roxio or Nero to re-create
your CD?

To introduce myself I have been a long time follower of the Linux Router
Project aka LEAF. I have actually been using various distros since Dachstein
always with pcmcia. I can tell you it has been a long hard battle at times
espcially when all you could find was some bits and pieces of info her
I tried to set the clock today, but I get this error, I must be looking
at the wrong man page. Can't find any more doc. How does the syntax
belong? (Bering_rc2, soon to be rc3)
(also tried hwclock --set --date="1026432127")

Argh. Gateway/firewall is down.
Tried to include ide support, because it took S long to rebuild/recopy
all the floppy files. Now the system dies with a RAMDrive CRC error (bad
block). (Same thing booting from floppy OR IDE)
All my firewall rules, etc gone.
Is there a prebuilt kernel with id
Hi all,
I have a small bridging question,
is it possible to create a bridge which includes an interface that is not
up yet??
What I am trying to do is using cipe tunneling to bridge two LAN's together.
But when I create the bridge the tunnel isn't necessary up yet.
If I configure cipe and I c

Hello all readers,
I am searching for 'makeiso' (for windows) howto or options list and
their explainations because I am always fighting to burn my Bering CD.
For remember : I have a good image who is actualy running but I want to
add lrpkg.cfg in it and when I boot with this new image my PC is
Weird one here.
My Bering RC3 box has just started behaving very odd when it brings up the
ppp link (serial modem).
The after the modem wailing finishes there used to be about a seconds' worth
of data and then the link would be live. Now I have to wait around 30secs
while the modem sporadically

Mostly just a heads-up for anyone using MDS's excellent
netsnmpd package on Bering and possibly other LEAF distros...
I recently setup SNMP disk monitoring using the snmpd.conf
"disk" entries on one of my Bering RC2 servers. snmpd looks
for /etc/mtab to map directories to their corresponding
