Can anyone tell me, how i must set up my iptables, so
rip2(gated) will work ?
My Box sends NO multicast messages, i think the
iptables block all that!
I use the following settings:
Bering without Shorwall!
eth0: 192.200.0.0; 255.255.0.0
eth1: 10.200.27.0; 255.255.255.0

Microsoft SQL server listens on that port (1433)...there's a worm going
around that is looking for unprotected SQL server hosts. Hopefully this

It seems that the orinoco v0.09b drivers aren't very good.
I am now running the 0.13beta1 drivers and they're no longer spitting up the
various errors and timeouts I was having before.
Here's how I did it:

So far , searching the web, i've found that shorewall supports MAC
filtering, but Bering looks like it does not have support for iptables
based MAC filtering.
Any other solution, like setting on /etc/ethers,
arp -f /etc/ethers -i
so that, i will deny the IP's to get to the external interf
