I had the same problem however when using the:
rtl8139
module - all seams to work OK... I can't speak to why the 8139too do not
work though...

Yea. I did put the "apm=off no-hlt" in the
isolinux.cfg and it worked fine. What it means is that
I have to "mount ... -o loop" all bootable ISOs,
change the isolinux.cfg for every CDROM, burn a new CD
again to make it work for every CD. It will be nice
if I can do it a floppy and let the floppy t
I have a NIC with a RealTek chipset that in "full" linux distributions works
with the 8139too module.
In Bering 1.2 I loded the mii.o module then when I try to load the 8139too.o
module I got the error:
insmod: init_module: 8139too.o: Operation not supported by device
What am I missing ?
Thanks,

I checked your problem. Obviously you are using a module which does not
correspond to the distro version.
Remember: each version of Bering has its own set of modules and you cannot
mix them up.
I advise you to use the latest

I think you need to add eth2 in the script, see below at line

Hi there,
Would there be anyone that uses Leaf as a dial-in unit that have created a
special log script? What I'm after is something that can tell me when a

The easy part is the grep the log and get when they logged in - however -

Hi Guys:
Let´s see if someone know what to do with this:
I am trying to enable a atm nic to use a package
called atmtools.lrp.
To get this, I am using a nicstar.o module which
depends of another module "idt77105.o".
I was trying to do this in different bering
distributions V1.2, V1.1 and v1.
Anyone know of a GUI or HTML configurator for
FreeSWAN IPSec?
Does Webmin address this service?
