I might be wrong, but it is likely the ppp package available here:

Lynn,
Thanks for the answer, but no, it's not a problem with the box. I have seen
this before on other boxes, but I was always able to find older (rev Bx)
NIC's in ower stock. The only thing we have left right now are rev C1.
I will see if I can find updated source for the modules.

Does anyone know where I can find the ppp-dialup.lrp spoken of on this page?

I apologize if this is obvious but I can't find it in the CVS tree or on any download
pages I can find at leaf.sourceforge.net. I also cannot find
I was justing visiting www.norhtec.com today and

what I intended to do with it. I replied and have yet
to hear back. I hope they sell to consumers.

Esoteric Windows browsing stuff GACK.
Windows Network Neighborhood uses Microsoft's NetBuei in a broadcast mode.
It uses 'Browse Masters' on each subnet etc. This stuff doesn't travel
across a router at all without a lot of specific help from the router (Cisco
routers can do this, but it cons

Finally there is an open-source solution to the 'hidden transmitter'
problem.

Hi!
Im new to LEAF and I try to set up my first firewall. To connect to the
internet, I use an intern DSL-Modem from FRITZ. I searched the net for
some drivers and I found one at http://distro.kneschke.de, called
fcdsl.lrp. But there is no documentation at all! Is there anybody who

Hi,
I'm running several Dachstein based firewalls, all kernel
2.2.19-3-LEAF-RAID.
In all the boxes I have 2 or 3 DLINK DFE-530TX network cards (rev A1 trough
B3, I think).
All use the modules pci-scan and via-rhine without any problem.
Now I'm preparing another box, same config, only the NIC's re

Have you tried just having one 3c509 card in the machine?
The cards may all be at same io port.
Are the cards in plug and pray mode? I think linux may not like that!
You may need to use the dos setup program to set cards up.
HTH.

I've tried 2 different sets of ISA 3C509 cards, get the same problems. I'm
not sure the cards are setup right. My ioports shows this for the cards:
0300-030f : 3c509
My interrupts shows:
CPU0
0: 128443 XT-PIC timer
1:881 XT-PIC keyboard

Actually what I get is:

ip_nat_irc 2176 0 (unused)
ip_nat_ftp 2784 0 (unused)
ip_conntrack_irc2880 1
ip_conntrack_ftp3648 1

Nope, I thought that too.
I was mistaken. I confused that driver with another card's driver I was
using (smc-ultra).
The 509 driver will find all the cards inside the box.
Here is an abbreviated copy of what my dmesg looks like:
PIIX3: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later

If I remember correctly, if you have more then one 3C509, you'll have to
specify the io & irq for both cards when you load the module. It only probs
for one card automagically.
