I want to try and get a card that works with a
pre existing driver. I used a Netgear card and it
needed the tulip.o driver which wasn't in the
modules directory. I think I might go with a
3COM Card.

What is a recommended Network Card that can
be used with Bering? I cannot find a Recommended Hardware
list anywhere.

I have a similar question. How do you upgrade without
reinstalling the entire package and having to re-configure
all your settings?

NOTE: Also some type of GRE (.lrp) package would be
nice so we could setup GRE Tunnels to be used for
Multicasting. I never could get (ip_gre.o) to work.

Now there are other methods of load balancing, but they involve
running routing protocols such as BGP, but thats a whole other story that
most likely won't involve DSL links (usually).

I think the logs rotate after 3 days by default. If you need records
beyond that point your out of luck.

hing else need to be configured?
I've also tried the configs listed here:
http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=1452&group_id=13751
...but that didn't do much good on my Bering LRP since its a FAQ
for people configuring LRP 2.9.x or Materhorn/Eiger. Any
this going into the next Bering Version?

I had a similar problem with r3 until I downloaded (tulip.o).
tulip.o wasn't included and I so I needed to install it. Once I did that

So what could be the problem? None of my configs seem to save back
to the floppy. The drive light never spins to acknowledge my saving or
anything. Am I suppose to force a save or is it done automaticly? HELP
