We replaced in Bering-uClibc 2.2 dnscache with dnsmasq cause we have
received reports that dnscache from time to time doesn't resolve the

The Bering-uClibc team releases Bering-uClibc 2.3 beta1 today.
This release moves Bering-uClibc to Linux kernel version 2.4.29 and a
kernel built with gcc 3.3.
Additionally a few minor bugs has been fixed and a lot of the base
packages has been updated.
But more important, though less visible,

Michael;
you can always download shorewall-[version].lrp from shorewall mirrors
to use and test the latest and greatest.
Note that shorewall 2.0.15 has been released in January - so it's not

Yes; buildtool setups for openvpn 2.0 rc6 and rc16 versions are in cvs
for some time - we just hesitate to build a lrp package due to
missing docs how to use on a LEAF Bering

Following our well known 'release early, release often' cycle, we are proud to

This new release had the usual testing period, that included
a few betas and one release candidate.
