Not sure how much is just bluster and bullsh1t but he doesn't half talk a good
fight. His enthusiasm seems boundless - IF (and I know if is a big IF) he can
'walk the walk like he talks the talk' we are in for fun and games and
ultimately (hopefully quite soon) good times
This bit especially
With you on this Dave. He seems to want to be here for the duration.
He has a proven record of managing a football club at a top level despite what
some listers on here say.
I'm giving him and Hockaday along with new players my support.

I the Hock will be doubling up as coach driver.

I'll support the team but never this owner or coach, both of whom are fcking
disasters.

We were already a laughing stock. Not sure what we are now? I'm fed up of
scum fans feeling sorry for us, it's embarrassing.

I'm firmly in the Give them the support until they f*ck up camp.
At least we have something different now eh? When was the last time we were
linked with so many players? Or an owner was willing to spend some money
acquiring players? Ross has been sold, yes, but we got an unreal price for him
I think if this had happened 10 years ago, there would be riots down at the
ground and Cellino would have had his arse kicked back to Italy but Ridsdale,
Krasner , bates , Haigh and co make the Hock and Cellino seem quite appealing
in a self mocking sort of way.
The joking will of course
Agreed! Might as well have a mad owner chucking his money around than an old
fart or middle eastern bank fleecing us. Result could be the same but it will
be more interesting at least

I think Cellino said in his interview that the money from the Ross
sale was going to buy Elland Road. But he also said that he has 15
million to buy new players.
As for Hockaday, his CV is not impressive. But given the Cellino track
record of sacking coaches, he wont last long anyhow.

I don't really get all the negativity - if you look at last seasons team -
which stayed up with no real concerns the only player who has left of all those
with the highest appearances is McCormack
Kenny is also likely to be on his way / not getting a game
Last years first XI based on appearances
I applaud the optimism mate but McCormack kept us up pretty much single
handedly last year. McD did lose the plot and I would have optimism if we had
recruited somebody of repute and didn't have a lunatic convicted criminal
pulling the strings.
People say it's an unknown? That's bollocks. We
McCormack put in a transfer request. None of us wanted him to go but he got
more than double what he is worth.
When has Cellini fleeced the fans? He was very popular with Calgary fans which
is pretty unique in that country.
We all have reservations about Hockaday but he does have PL experience

someone of repute like, err Brian McDermott, Neil Warnock, Terry Venables
perhaps?
and didn't have a lunatic
The Dawn you see is a nuclear explosion.
Clutching at straws with the Hockaday PL coach thing mate. The thing is you
know that too.
McCormack handing a transfer request? Hmmm couldn't be due to the fact that we
are an absolute shambles or anything…could it?
Christ we all want Leeds to do
No not like those people you mention. McKay maybe? Even someone like Eddie Gray
if you want a coach. Brian Kidd? Simon Grayson was great for us given the
circumstances. None of those would work under a loon Rich. He doesn't deserve a
second chance at our expense.

The Si called failed manager is a coach with well defined functions. For
better or worse this a Cellino run show.
No one knows if better or worse.

Cellino ran a small club with average gates of 5k for 22 years and 17 of them
were in Seria A. Fact that is a success.
McCormack looked for any excuse to jump ship and if he hadn't I would still
have ripped Fulham hands off for £11m.
You are focusing on Hockaday's last job so why am I the
Average gates of 5k because he ran the stadium into the ground and fell out
with the council. He had them playing as far from Cagliari as it's possible to
be and still be in italy. The equivalent of us playing our home games in
launceston.
I'm focussing on the fact that he's a loser who no one

There is only one man running this club and that's Cellino!
Hockaday is there to train the players to order.
Crucial to the success is whether hock has credibility or whether that fake
twitter account is true or not

I don't think you should under estimate the link between politics and football
in Italy. MC played games far from home to make a point.
I have only stated facts. The way you feel you should stay away next season
mate. I get impression you want us to fail.

Yours is the curate's question, sort of good in parts.
The bit that makes me wonder is how did Hockaday be in a position to get
the job in the first place? Did he write in on spec? Was he head-hunted? Is
he somebody's mate?
Results will tell us if he just got on the end of the wrong queue when
