Not that impressed by Liverpool. They have been clinical with chances but it’s
not like Barcelona in their prime.
Yet commentators seem to think it is

Especially if you read what Stephen Warnock says about Norwich;
"Look at the way Norwich are playing out from the back. I feel they're inviting
pressure on themselves that they don't need. I
Fairly pleased to have started off hammering Bristol city rather than being

not really. £26m sales does not mean £26m profit due to player amortisation

LOL, very true Rog, actually over filled and often split down my t-shirt.
Quite some time ago I decided, that in view of some awful shit that happened in
my life, putting pointless things like kicking bladders around into
perspective, to
FFP stipulates that clubs mustn't lose more than 15m over 3 years (excluding
any dosh put in by Owners) I believe we lats 2 years we lost £4m then £15m, so
this year we have to turn that 15m loss into a 4m profit. That means we have
to find £19m, excluding any further increases in overheads.
Not sure about that. I am incredibly optimistic about the upcoming season
especially after Bristol. Saturday will tell us a bit more.
However, I really think we could be struggling if we get anything like the
injuries we had last year or White turns out to be pale imitation of Pontus.
I know
Rich W - glass always half empty, if not bordering on completely empty
from time to time.
Rich N - glass always full, never mind half full.
Makes for interesting reading, but surely reality is somewhere between
the two viewpoints?

Whilst occasionally wishing we had a couple of Linekers upfront, the bottom
line is there must be a very small percentage of goals scorers willing, or
able, to put in the effort required to fit into a Bielsa team, and even less
that we can afford. I hope the young lad from Arsenal is up to it,
Casillas on £35k a week, that's nuts. He's fucking shite

On this occasion Rich, I think you're being a bit naive. I think the YEP
version is a cut down of Phil Hays piece in the new Athletic website
(Subscription required, but I signed up on a £30 for a year option. The
writing is VERY good I think). It's clear we were over loaded with
youngsters
