Could be a dodgy connection between the LCD and the motherboard. My missus got her phone wet recently, and she couldn't turn it off so the connector shorted. Replacement LCD works fine, but occasionally it presses the buttons. Maybe there's a spec of dust in the connector causing your issue? On
