Does anybody have a Legacy DVD, copy, anything that shows how to use the
follower attachment? I purchased a used 1000ex on eBay about 6 months ago.
Can't figure how to use the copy part. I need to make a chair leg. It is
square, round and curved. Anything would be of great help.

I have used the Template follower of the Legacy quite a bit.
I do not believe there are any real good videos of how it is done, I feel
this is one of the weak links of the machine, I hate to say that ,The

Once you have the centers of the template and the router aligned, Its a
pretty simple matter to take light cuts
and work the material down to the shape you want.

carriage (side to side movement), and the X axis is the drive screw (front
to back, tail to head stock...)

I got a little spare time today so I went down to play with my machine
( it's not all togeather yet ) and remembered reading this post &
think I came up with a no cost fix that seems to work.
Degrease the threads on the screw & the threads on the inside of the
handle & let dry
Put a drop of blue
At least I know its going to a good home. Bill Bulkeley bought mine, i
think he got a good deal but what an ordeal getting it shipped to
Australia! Before the Legacy I had a Sears Router/crafter so this was a big
step up.
But i bought a big shopbot with an indexer so i just didn't use the legac
