If that unit sells cheap It could be a VERY good find for someone who knows how
to use it, I personally would like to get my hands on it or something like it,
Some major re-building would be needed, but the base machine I believe could be
used to make a state of the art machine,

You can use the quick mounts and avoid having to disassemble the legacy. They
would also slide in the inner bed rails by simply removing the tailstock. As
to what they are used for, that would have to be up to your own imagination. I
can only come up with one instance of how they could be
