Very interesting Tim,  For me, I would forget Black & Decker & Bosch as I have never been a fan and Sears are not available in UK​. Triton are reliable and not made in Australia, being now owned by a British company. I have had DeWalt, Freud, Hitachi, Porter Cable probably same 110 volt version

Some of the legacys the later versions had ball bearing head stocks which stopped this problem. Curt added ball bearings to his mill I’m sure he will chime in soon and show how he did his.my mills all had ball bearing head stocks. But the mills I have now don’t so I will replace the Delrin bushe
